Keb Mo Evanston Concert reviews
Never cease to amaze.
Opening acts, though very talented, did not suit the energy level I was up for. The pairing of Tiger Army with Keb Mo years ago made me feel like a pissed seventeen year old, instead of the 9 to 5 thirty-eight year old I am. I've seen many a Mike Ness show, throughout the valley and over many, many years. Just when some dates will pop up, I think that perhaps Keb Mo will get tired of the rigors of touring. As I wait for the show, I think to myself, there's no way they'll top the last performance. But as the song goes, "I Was Wrong". I shouldn't doubt this band's staying power, it's like classic style... undeniably built to last, built to rock. Always and again and again.
